Please follow these measurement instructions exactly.  Taking the time to measure carefully will greatly improve your enjoyment.

Getting another person to make the measurements will help to get accurate measurements.

Your trouser size is Inadequate for determining your measurements.  Each company has a different way of determining size.

Body Shapes

Each person wears his clothing differently.  Choose the body shape that most closely resembles yours and follow the measurement instructions.

Type A (approximately the same measurements for chest, waist, and hips)

Type B (Average build)

Type C  (heavy  with soft rounded body)

Terminology

Waist  (where you wear your belt)

Seat  - the largest part of the body below the waist.

Length (or drop) - The length of the kilt, as measured from the waist.
